On October 7, 2007, Lusternia turned three years old! A major roleplaying event involving the resurrection of an ancient character from the histories by a recurring villain was held throughout the week and wrapped up on Saturday. On Sunday, we celebrated with games and contests which ended with the release of a new area filled with quests. It was a lot of fun all around!

It's hard for me to believe we've been open for three years, but I am extremely pleased with our progress and think we are in the greatest shape as we've ever been. This past year, we have seen a lot of expansion, including:

• The release of the monk archetype and two monk guilds, the Shofangi and the Tahtetso. Each monk guild has their own specialization and allows players to customize their attacks. This has turned out to be a very popular archetype, and two more guilds are planned.
  
• The introduction of the Collegiums, learning centers for newbies within each main player city/nature commune with player teachers and special quests unique to each organization.
  
• The Undervault - An enormous underground continent that tells the story of an epic conflict between two races, which were also released as new players races: the Kephera and the Illithoid.
  
• The First Ascension wherein one player ascended to godhood through a series of major challenges.
