MudGamers.com updated - more games needed!
MudGamers.com has undergone some major changes very recently and I feel we're approaching a beta state as far as features and functionality goes.
What we need now are more quality games to list on the site. If your game is open to players and has something to offer beyond a simple stock clone I'd love to have you list on MudGamers. Listing your game is straightforward and can be done with this submission form. You need to join the site to list a game, but anyone may rate games and play them. MudGamers is a new community portal site which aims to present text games to players in a modern and accessible way. All the games can be played on the website using an integrated Flash client. Major changes:

Just wanted to thank you for the work you have done. Using a proxy to connect to games that cannot (or would not) install the server policy was genius.
You rock! |

I second that, it's a huge improvement for a web interface over my java one, really lets the players who aren't always mudding from home to have a better experience in the game. The movement alone is a massive step above telnet/java, the scripting is also great.

Thanks I am glad you find it useful!
The client is still a work in progress so feel free to drop me a line with any feedback. I will get a new version up soon that has a link to the scripting help page from the alias and trigger screens which should help people get the most from it. |
