On January 22nd, we celebrate the quincentennial anniversary of a historical event in Achaea, the fall of the corrupt Seleucarian Empire and the rise of the Modern Age. Festivities will last a full in-game year (12.5 real-life days, beginning January 22nd and ending February 4th) and include games, giveaways, and the potential to win up to $1200 USD!

What you can expect:

• A Treasure Hunt to kick off the beginning of Year 500, where giftbags stuffed with goodies are scattered across the realm.
  
• The traditional Championship Games, a series of competitions designed to test the wit and might of participants, from which the overall Champion will win a choice of either $700 USD or 2500 in-game credits (a value of approximately $750 USD), plus the right to wield the legendary Staff of Nicator.
  
• The Year 500 Lottery, with hundreds of credits awarded to the second through fifth place ticket holders, and first place receiving a choice of $500 USD or 2000 in-game credits (a value of $579.99 USD).
  
• A multitude of smaller games for gold, special equipment, credits, and other goodies throughout the year.
