The staff at Alter Aeon are pleased to announce the release of new trade route and area maps for each of the new player islands. These maps show approximate layout, roads and trails, and are extremely helpful for both new and experienced players.

You can take a look at these and many other maps on the Alter Aeon Maps page, at:

Sorry about the double post; I'm not entirely sure how it even happened. I'd delete one of them, but I haven't figured out how yet.

I've had the same thing happen on occassions. In each instance, my internet has blinked out for a just a second while I was submitting the post and when it reestablished a second later it seemed to resulted in my browser posting again. From my end all I saw was the little pop-up window on my task bar showing an established connection but when I looked at the forums there were two identical posts. It's like digital cloning!

Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure that's what happened here as well. I remember there being network issues and at least one timed out connection while I was surfing. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it's an issue on TMS's end. I had no connection issues and when I posted it just hung there. I checked the site and saw it posted 2 messages.

I had a hanging connection last time I posted a new thread. It eventually timed out and when I went to check the forum the post had gone through. I'm guessing maybe you guys are refreshing/resubmitting and it's double posting. But yeah it looks like a problem on the server end.

This has happened to me on rare occasions and as such I think it an oddity. I had thought that threads could be deleted by the author, but I may be thinking of another forum and only possible via a moderator.
