Well I have decided to edit an area and add in intresting mobs to kill, for instance Annoying newbie that ask alot of questions, and Puff the magic dragon is sunbathing here. I came to you the public to find 4 mobs, and i'll think of another 2 and add them in

Please put telnet addresses and web addresses in your signature if they are not related to the topic. (Please check out my mud is only a valid topic in Promotions > Advertising for Players. It is certainly not valid for a topic in Building.) Signatures may be turned on and off allowing the user to determine if they choose to see them.
On topic, Puff and Annoying newbie are stock mobs, they do not qualify as being interesting. I hope your post was being tongue-in-cheek. My definition of an interesting mob is one with good descriptions and progs that fits in the area. Any other opinions on what is a interesting mob? Neranz Laverani, Seeker of Knowledge |

Considering the reference to 'annoying newbie' and 'puff' that has to be assumed a newbie zone. As such a context, I'm a proponent of introducing the newbie to the races and classes that exist in the realm as other players or commonly encountered mobs. A suitable level as well as suitable used skills encountered by a newbie go a long way in teaching what mobs to be careful around and what can be easily killed.
As to actual descriptions, the choices are as endless as your imagination but you do have helps by looking at the descriptions of your own players. Be creative though, an elf mage doesn't always have to be a pointy eared, robe dressed geezer. Iluvatar |

Why have the mobs be killed? There are many interesting things that can be done if you allow the mob to live on. You can add some nice descriptions and mprogs that will enhance the mob. If you just looking for ideas, i would stay away from the general "mobs to be killed" theme and focus more on an in depth character personia in the mob instelf. Try tricking your players into thinking the mob is a real character. This should be quite interesting, in my opinion atleast.
