This is a somewhat unusual request for help... basically I have been attempting to compile the mudos v22.2b12 driver for the past 3 days now, it's all I've done and I haven't succeeded. Quite frustrating The trials of being a linux and mud coder/admin newbie.

I have my mud up and running with the basics as I'm using a mudlib that came with the driver in binary, but the heartbeat_interval is set at 2.5 seconds, or 2500000 (centiseconds I think that is, that's the number anyway). My goal is to change the heartbeat_interval to 1 second, or 1000000, but to do that I need to compile a new driver with the value of heartbeat_interval changed in options.h or local_options when it's made.

If anyone is willing to talk with me, perhaps over IRC or aim or something else and help me to compile this, that would be awesome. If someone who is actually good at this sort of thing wants to download it from www.mudmagic.com and compile it with the heartbeat set to 1 (it defaults at 2) and then email it to me or post it somewhere that is great too. It in theory is something that should take less than 10 minutes, but 30ish hours from me haven't been able to do it.
