This is a discussion on "lpc documentation" in the Top Mud Sites MUD Coding forum : Heya kids. I have been attempting to learn what I can about the lpc codebase, I was asked to act as a coder on a deadsouls lp mudlib driven game. I have not done much with programming before however, and what scant documentation on lpc that I can find seems to be aimed at seasoned programmers. I would really appreciate it if someone could point me in the direction of comprihensive, easy to understand (for a beginner) documentation. Thanks in advance for your assistance in this matter. Re: lpc documentation
Your best bet is probably to take a look around LPMuds.net - Index. There's some docs on functions and driver applies at MudOS Documentation and there is a basic LPC tutorial at Merentha - Descartes LPC Textbooks. IIRC, the function docs and tutorial can be found in most distributions of MudOS (and maybe FluffOS).
