This is a discussion on "MUD links" in the Top Mud Sites MUD and RPG Webmasters forum : I've been working a while on a list of links related to MUD resources, and it would be nice if you could give some feedback on the link collection. Does it miss any important link? Should there be more/less categories? I'm also considering to add more direct links to articles hosted by e.g TopMudSites. For example there could be one category containing links to all TMS articles. Another for the mudconnector, and so on. It would create a more easy to overview index to MUD articles. The link list is located at Silver Bridge: Links / All ... |

Re: MUD links
I notice you've got three AckMUD links, but nothing for any of the other codebases - if your list is supposed to be more general you might want to consider adding sites for other common codebases, such as GodWars and Derivatives (Godwars Mud Resource » Code, Snippets and Fun), Smaug (-{ Smaug MUD Code Base }-), LPmuds (LPMuds.net - Index), etc.
Some other sites I use which you've not included: * MudLab (Mud Lab): High-signal low-noise mud discussions. * MudQuest (MUD Quest): Small list of free, high-quality muds. * MudBytes (MudBytes MUD Code Repository): Forums, mud list, lots of code for download. Re: MUD links
I'd also recommend listing the MU*Wiki at Main Page - WikiMU* - a Wikia wiki

Re: MUD links
Thanks for the suggestions. I've added the links to the website.

Re: MUD links
TinTin++ - A free mud client for Windows, Linux, and OS X.
Currently the most popular mud client on sourceforge.net, averaging 1000 downloads a month, if that's any indication of importance. |

Edit: I have started adding links to articles located at websites such as tms, tmc, and mudmagic. It's also possible to search after articles by name using the search option. Links can be rated now and are sorted by order instead of by amount of visits. This way article series are shown in proper order. At first I was a bit uncertain if I should add an article link list. So far it seems to be quite useful though. Last edited by Aeran : 12-13-2007 at 09:28 AM. |
