There are a few small glitches with php 4.2 that are being worked out. The next release which is php 4.2.1 is due out on Apr 26 [Friday]. This release will hopefully contain a fix for connecting to a local database using "localhost" as the hostname. The php mailing list mentions bugs with Apache 2.0 as well. Visit Php Website mailing lists for updates, and wait till Friday to grab the latest release.

well im not a n00b realy, i do know active-x, vb script, dhtml and i do all my html in notepad or in dos edit..... also i know mysql.

ActiveX and VBscript ought to make any Windows user run around and scream in terror, mainly because the most dangerous virii have been written in VBscript and ActiveX.
Still tho, remind me to visit your site once I get home, and teach me VBscript so I can use it for WSH and Win2k logon scripts. |

That's why I'm going to use my home comp to look at yer site. ActiveX = nasty like sitting naked on an anthill with honey all over your genitals. But my home computer already has achieved the maximum nastiness (Windows XP) so it just CAN NOT get worse.
