This is a discussion on "Graphics for Lusternia Races" in the Top Mud Sites MUD and RPG Webmasters forum : Lusternia at no small expense has commissioned a professional fantasy artist, to create depictions of each of the races. The artwork, I am pleased to say, has surpassed my expectations (which is saying a lot!. Check them out at races thumbnail page. I hope I'm showcasing them to their fullest potential and your comments are welcome.... |

I've always been impressed with the graphics used on Lusternia and it's sister sites.
I think I like the Furrikin best. |

Despite the raw deal he gets for the bald head... I'm still pushing for the human geomancer... he's such a great representation of what was in my mind in the first place. They're all very very well done though.

They look nice, though in my mind the Igasho was more gorilla-like and less "human with long hair"-like. I mean, what's the deal with the fur around the calves and forearms, but not much on the actual body? It doesn't look like the fur is doing much "protecting from the harsh environment" to me. It's good art, but over all I think that the races are too humanoid. Where in my mind they were beastly and had a more primal look, they just look like humans with long hair or webbed hands.

That's some really great work. It's nice to have an actual visualisation of the races.

I love the pics, even though the females seem well-endowed. But I guess thats the standard. Anyway, I still love the pics and maybe thinking about giving the game a second chance.
