This is a discussion on "phpBB2 Subcategory Modification" in the Top Mud Sites MUD and RPG Webmasters forum : Hey there, We are moving our forums over to a phpBB2 forum with mySQL and I really, really want a subcategory system. Has anyone put in a modification like this before in phpBB2? Recommendations? Tips? Tricks? Tutorial? I do game-engine code, not websites and forums. I figured to ask the experts here before I embark on attempting this modification. Off to browse the .org site and see what I can scare up.... |

The .org site is the main place I go for add-ons, but phpbbhacks.com is also worthy. I found this there, hope it helps you out.

I had about given up on the post, but since my host was down for almost two weeks I never got around to trying a mod. I will check it out, and again, "Thank you." |

phpBB can be a pain sometimes to mod, but can produce some really great results if you take the time. Just holler if you need any more help! |
