Some nice folks gave me free shell access so I could mess with a/another MUD idea I had. They even set me up with the public_html folder for me to place my webpage. I went through and hand-coded a webpage in html, not much of a web programmer but it was good enough for what I wanted to start with.
Thing is the address of it links to their main website, not to my index.html in my public_html. Is there a setting they need to make to their shell to correct this? Something else I need to do? I don't often do anything with html so... ...Color me a confused web-noob. |

Is the site running on a subdomain or domain-based site? For a lot of hosting sites, most use Apache w/ either mod_proxy or mod_redirect installed.
If you want, send me a PM and I will help you find/test it. -- M |
