|Our mud is based on Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series post-Age of legends and pre-Rand. The codebase is heavily modified Diku. The only "stock" area we have is midgaard and that has been totally revamped with new descriptions and mobs. All other areas are unique to this mud.
We have auctioning, questing, and very soon, sailing. In addition to the "main" continent, the Seanchan lands are being worked on and will be able to reached by sailing across the ocean. Spell-learning-by-sight is rare, but possible. Guilds are available for the popular WoT social structures--WhiteTower, Children of the Light, Shadowspawn, Aiel clans, as well as others. Each guild has its own developed recall area. There are also secondary and tertiary guilds for internal structures within a guild.
Mudschool (reached by the command 'goschool') has informative room descriptions for the various races and groups in the WoT world.
Bonding is available within the White Tower which grants both Sedai and Gaidin special attributes. Some of the more obvious abilities are gaidin's reduced need for food and drink and auto-rescue, with subtle ones which develop over the amount of time the bonded chars spend together.
Shadowspawn also abound as both trolloc and darkhound. Trollocs will be expanding soon to include a selectable animal form in creation which will modify character attributes. Right now, trollocs have a race-skill called maul to rip opponents up with and darkhounds have maul as well as a unique skill of rake. However, be warned, shadowspawn are not well liked by guards or shopkeepers.
