| Avernus was started as a labor of love by a crew of veteran mudders and RPGers, to do what in our minds would be the ideal fantasy role playing envirorment. Avernus's goal is to be as original as possible without reinventing the wheel, thus we started with a nice functional, stable and easily extensiable code base, CircleMUD. At this point the code and world files are about triple the bp10 size and extensively modified to suit our needs and goals. We lost our old site about 3 years ago and just put the site back up about a year ago, so we are currently restructing and looking for players, builders and coders to help revitalize Avernus. |
