| The Xiris Mud Project is creating a scalable, multi-user gaming platform using J2EE and J2SE 1.4. The theme of the mud is really more aimed at coders and doing interesting things. It has special client that uses Java's HTML environment, uses EJB as its core persistence system, and does its socket stuff through the new java apis. More cool things are coming, including graphical maps and nifty hyperlinks. |
