| Aftershock is a modified ACK!Mud based on the 4.2 ACK Release. We are a mature MUD, which has been around since the mid 1990s and are always looking for new players to come and experience the magic. A friendly IMM staff and a helpful player base makes for an enriching and entertaining experience. Aftershock presents the standard ACK!Mud multiclass sytem up through the adept levels. We have expanded on this system by creating detailed and unique Realm Lord levels and the ultimate in Legend levels with unique and new skills to be discovered. With 92 areas to explore, new discoveries are at your fingertips daily. Develop your own unique equipment by utilizing quest points earned throughout daily game play. For those of you wishing that extra bit of excitement. Aftershock does allow player killing for those players who choose this route. PK is restricted, however, and does not ruin the experience of those who wish a more peaceful MUD existance.
