| The year is 2378. The Dominion War is behind the Federation but scars still remain. The years since the Treaty of Bajor have been quiet ones, with a focus in Starfleet and the Federation as a whole on rebuilding and restructuring the fleet for Starfleet's primary purpose of exploration. On the drawing board is the Galaxy-X class, which melds the old Galaxy-class hull with a new frontier of technology. Preparations for the maiden voyage of the USS Redemption, the first Galaxy-X class, are being made. The final touches are being put on the ship, the young Captain is gathering his crew, and the commissioning ceremony is expected to take place within the next month. The galaxy is quiet now, and there is a great deal of empty space out there, ripe for exploration, if only things can stay this quiet for a little while longer... The ship will be launching on November 4th and we are open for RP. We still have plenty of space for new characters. Please stop by and have a look around, we'd be glad to have you on the team! |
