| Welcome to Shadows of Time MUD (Multi-User Dungeon), a world solely based on Robert Jordan's, Wheel of Time book series. A totally free, multi-player, role-playing, text based game, that is up-kept by the administrators of the realm. Within the world you will find an environment suitable for both the intense role-player, and the intense player-killer. Players have a wide array of choices once they begin their journey through the vast lands of the wheel. One could set out on a quest to destroy a vicious beast of Shai'tan, that has been running in the lands, bringing chaos everywhere it goes. Or one could join the forces of Shai'tan, and aid him in his eternal quest, to rid the pattern of the light. If your thirst for adventure has yet to be quenched you could alway join one of the many player ran hosted tournaments, and fight for your name to be echoed through the lands! If these sorts of adventures do not appease your tastes, there are numerous taverns throughout the lands, that one could relax within the confounds, and enjoy a nice glass of ale. The world is built upon the foundation of the Rom 2.4 code base, and from there has been heavily modified to enhance the enjoyment for the player.
