Many years have passed since the great King, Lance Baldanes, suppressed the rebellious men from Bleston in the War For Cedilian. For once in a long time, the land was once again unified and at peace. Over the next seven years, King Baldanes travelled all over the lands, creating treaties and trust between his fellow nations diplomats. On his return home to the golden city of Cedilian, an arrow out of the most unlikely places stuck deep inside the throat of the king. The wound was fatal, ending Baldanes life before it's prime. Shortly after the announcement of his death, there was an attack on the great city. After a long and hard fought battle, the city of Cedilian, by the grace of Syraal, survived. Many people of the nations tried to hold the monarch together and establish dominance, ranging from the family of the king, diplomats, priests, and all of them failed. The people, tired of neglect, left the great city and moved to the other countries of the world. New governments flourished and eventually the old empire vanished. People of the regions eventually became quaint with their lives again, their new nations, and their new rulers. These new nations, holding no contact with each other, began to expand. Some of these nations were divided by civil war. This includes Ariea splitting into the nations of Daeria and Cedaria, the splitting of Valkan into Valkara and Valantra. Current feuds have been going on over the islands between Jalyth and Valkara. Secret guilds have been formed, each to their own cause and each with their own seperate ruler, not those of their home nation. A few of the guilds began delving into the dark, mysterious arts, recruiting new members from the depths of society. Stories have even risen about a militia group who've stolen children from their homes during the night. The rulers of the nations have become increasingly aware of the fear in the streets. Wars have broken out due to fear in the nobility and rumors of an invasion from Bleston, which is seemingly unavoidable. Armies have also been formed, in large numbers, outside of the rulers of each nation..with allegiance to the deceased King Baldanes.
The world is toppling before our very eyes.
Give us a try, you won't regret it!
