| Within the fifth year of the Stargate program, the President authorized an 'offworld' base, built with the aid of allies that the various Stargate teams had discovered on a wide variety of planets. The purpose of this base is to establish a secondary outpost for humanity within the universe, as well as continuing the mission for peaceful exploration. The goal: discovery of allies and technology to aid the people of Earth in their first steps through the stars. The station has been dubbed 'Omega Station' an underground base built upon a world once scoured by the Goa'uld. The site is open and active, with scheduled plot related rp taking place and plots in progress.
