Ground Zero II: the Second Coming - MUD Description | |
A helicopter roars in from overhead kicking up dust and dirt in a wide radius. You are efficiently hustled aboard. On your way to the dropoff, the Sergeant in command briefly wishes you luck but you can see from the expression on his face that he finds your survival highly questionable. Then before you know it, you are dropped off and the helicopter is gone once more. Ground Zero II is a pure player kill MUD that takes place in a post apocalyptic time setting. You and your team have been deployed in an abandoned city. The city is a 21x21 room grid with randomly placed walls. Your objectives are to locate the nuclear warhead somewhere underneath the city and initiate self detonation. Weapons, explosives, vehicles, and other equipment have been parachuted down to the city's surface to aid you in your mission. There's a problem though, an enemy team has been deployed in the city and are also after the nuclear warhead. They also can find the equipment and use them. Racing against the clock and the enemy team, you must find the nuclear warhead, eliminate General Pataki and his elite Button Clan guarding the button, and hold the button for 300 seconds. There are no experience points or levels. All you need are your skills, teamwork, and a little bit of luck to accomplish this goal. Think you're up to it? Then suit up and let's rock. Welcome to Ground Zero. |
