| The world of the Last Aerie is based upon the book series "The Necroscope" by Brian Lumley. The time setting is that period following the Battle of the Gardens. Dweller and Harry, Dwellersire, along with their ally, Karen, have defeated the Wamphyri lead by Shaitis, and have destroyed all the aeries except for Karenstack. The world is frought with dangers. Only the massive effort by the Dweller, Tyric Greenblade, Oksana, and Rexlanath have managed to allow it to survive. The Wamphyri are coming back, and they are coming back strong. The races must come together again, as they once did in the Gardens, but there is much distrust. The Wamphyri seek to turn everyone into their lieutenants and take over the lesser races, turning them into their slaves, or worse, using them in the provisioning! Will you fight the Wamphyri, as do many of the Travellers, or will you worship them and work for them, as do some of the peoples. Or, will you seek to become one of them, and capture an Aerie of your own, and possibly suffer the ULTIMATE defeat? Only you can tell. Welcome to the Last Aerie, where even breathing can be dangerous...... Builders and Coders are required to have played characters to level 91. |
