SoulMUD: Age of Dogma - MUD Description
Hello there wanderer and adventurer of worlds.
If your here, then your likely looking for a new
mud to play on. Well look no further, you may
have found what your seeking, and an unexpected
find it is at that. SoulMUD was originaly quite
simple. I cant say that anymore. With 6 mortal
classes, and 20 avatar classes and the ability to
single, dual, triple or quad class all at your
choosing. There are over 800 abilities for
characters, as well as over 12,000 rooms to
explore, and thousands of equipment and mobiles.
Characters may choose a variety of difficulties,
for permadeath or non-permadeath characters, but
fear not, should your character die, you may even
quest to find the salvation of your characters
soul as a way to fight perma death. Redemption
and Salvation oh my!

Should you feel up for it, a vulgar character may
even partake in the experimental capture the flag
(order vs chaos) game, which uses preset chars to
fight the battle of good and evil by means of
permadeath pvp combat over objectives.

Commands such as scan, throw, astralbody, memorize
are the tip of the iceberg. A fully customizable
color configuration is available, as well as a
variety of prompts. The entire guild system revolves around characters levels, equipment
levels, and a complete skill-gain system in all of
the abilities. There are even skills such as
forge, brew, inscribe and jewelcraft to create
your own items.

An in-game event system, which is based upon time and cosmic forces will run events upon a cosmic
schedule, to offer quests, and a change of pace
once every few hours. Quests and Karma oh my!

I really cant explain it all here if I tried, and
even the web page falls short of the actualy
experience, how ever, the web page does hold a
complete database of all abilities in game to help
understand the system. The world is not easy by
any means, but what, if ever, is worthwhile is
ever easy.
