| RoP is a good vs evil pkmud, offering 24 different races each with their own strengths & weaknesses, 9 professions that you can seek out and join, each with several spells & skills that are unique to that profession only. The professions are: Warrior, Cleric, Templar, Monk, Warlock, Thief, Ninja, Mage, and Alchemist. Your character can advance his/her way up through the ranks of any of the professions through the use of warpoints (warpoints are collected through player-killing the opposite alignment). Rop also features 8 unique guilds that your character can join. When you join a guild, you gain certain advantages depending on what the guild specializes in. Remorting features numerous different options where the character can boost his/her stats, starting hit points or movement points, skill slots, & can eliminate the need to ever drink or eat again, RoP's remort system allows you to customize your character as you see fit. RoP's combat system is very complex, not a simple you do X amount of damage system. So if you enjoy playing a challenging mud with lots of options as to how to customize/create your character and if you enjoy team-aligned player killing, Rites of Passage is definately the mud for you. |
