| Before time began, there was nothing. Just a dank nothingness that was everything. Time didn't progress and history didn't exsist. Until something happened. All though nobody can really tell what happened, there are theories. Some believed that somehow a particle of dust just appeared from nothing and began exsistance. And with exsistance came time. And with time came history. Others believed that Immortal beings created all that is and all that was. Time was an evolution of the mind and history was an explanitory usage of time. Still others believed that without nothing there can be no everything. This school of thought entailed the belief that this nothingness was still out there somewhere, but inaccessable because of time and history. Most beings didn't follow this theory. Until something else happened. In the year 3216, the secret to time-travel was unlocked by eight powerful scientists who went by the names of Kevin, Jihad, Darkone, Saeri, Ruler, Feff, Seven, and Hybrid. Everyone was given the ability to travel through time. It wasn't until too late that experts realized that the extensive amount of time-travel was tearing a hole in the space-time continuum. Time-travel was outlawed soon after the discovery. The eight scientists were intrigued by the tear. After 12 years of research, in 3228, afraid of the outcome, yet too curious to not, they entered the tear to find where it lead. They found the great nothingness that exsisted before time. Only there were tears and swirling holes leading off in every direction. Paths leading to 12 BC and 84252 AD and 2001 AD and just about every year in between. This nothingness was finally given a name: The Mystic Times. Fragments of time were scattered all about this mystical plane. The eight scientists proclaimed it unstable and illegal to explore, but two centuries later, the law was revoked due to the fact that the scientists believed that the area had been stabilized. Now it is your turn, Explorer, to wander through the Mystic Times. But do be careful as the area sometimes has been know to be a bit.. unsafe.. |
