| Star Wars : Dawn of a New Age - MUD Description | |
| Star Wars Dawn of a New Age is heavily modified from the old SW:Shattered Equinox MUD. Since SE closed a little over 2 years ago work has been ongoing to get DNA ready for release. Now in January 2012 we are ready to open our doors for players to come and help us finish up testing and implementing all of our new mechanics and systems. On Febuary the 9th 2012 We will begin a series of scenario based missions where players can join in and pick their side in the conflict. Each scenario will lead into another with the outcome of the mission and actions of the players will have an affect on the following scenario. This will enable players to build a detailed background for their new characters and also gain levels and experience of all the MUDs new systems. New systems and mechanics include but are not limited to lightfight (ground based combat) dogfight(fighter based space combat) An extensive number of tweaks and re-writes to all other aspects of space combat. As well as a new faction system to replace the old clan system which also comes with its own perks. Char generation has been completely overhauled as well as the items of armour and clothing. Other additions include mini games to pass the time in a casino on Nar Shaddaa or a game with friends over a nice cool lomin ale in the local Cantina. So come and join us now and have your say on how our new systems are working, and any improvements you can think of. We're an open minded bunch and we're always open to suggestions.
