This is a discussion on "Okay, this really is a newbie q." in the Top Mud Sites Newbie Help forum : Okay, I'm trying to play a game called Labyrinthus Latinus. It has a telnet address, which I'm trying to enter into these mudclients I have. (MUSHclient and SimpleMU). I know the game works, because If I simply click on the link, it comes up. And I've played muds with these clients before! But for some reason, I can't figure out how to enter this address correctly! Help me! This sounds like a port problem to me. Make sure you have the correct port defined in your client.
The port for this mud is: 3333 Also, if you are at work or school, there is a chance that the port is blocked by whatever network you are on. Good Luck! wasd |
