This is a discussion on "ROT Codebase" in the Top Mud Sites Newbie Help forum : Would someone indulge me on the location of a ROT codebase that works on Windows please. I'm unsure on this codebase as I've just been working with SMAUG. So if you could help me find one, that has some areas and some help files with it I would be much appreciative.... Thanks. You would probably find it best to download and install cygwin, a *nix emulator which runs on windows and allows you to run almost any *nix program, including most diku derivative mud codebases, without many difficulties.
You'll find cygwin at www.cygwin.com. You'll find a good variety of codebases on www.kyndig.com. |
