I've finally made the switchover to the new forum software. Over the next few days I'll be working on it to give it a better look and add some new features.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I'll be able to port over the members list and forum messages. As of late the old forum started deleting threads at random, and this is partially because the database is starting to corrupt. You'll have to sign up with a new account.

This new forum has TONS more new features, including searching posts, private messaging, reply notification, and lots more.

Like the new look, Synozeer. I especially like the message feature. Did the old board have that?

Go to "Your Control Panel", then "Personal Info", then "Avatar Options". It's pretty self-explanatory from there =). You'll have to have a site to host the avatar image, though.

It seems to be taking a little big longer to load than before, but in all honesty I think the new look is well worth it. The painful to look at blue has been replaced by a cooling black, and the quotes look pretty neat too =)

Love the new forums. The black look is cool.

Tonight I'm going to replace this skin with a new one (don't worry, it looks the same), but it should have some things fixed, including the fact that not all the Post Icons are showing and the iB Code Buttons don't show either. I'm also going to add a checkbox under Post Options that will allow you to choose to be notified of any replies to your post.

As for speed, I'll keep an eye on that for the next few days and see if it's just a freak thing going on.

one bad thing about ikonboard is their avatar's are dull and boring (unless you upload a personal one)

I like the new board system, it's very much cool. I also like the fact you can skin it, lately black has been hard on my eyes, but there's this blue-purple and grey scheme that's really nice. I couldn't figure out for the life of me why I couldn't log in, until it dawned on me that I should probably try to re-register, and then it worked.

I like the new forums. They look good. And there's.. there's.. thingies! Yeah...

This was Celidie, by the way. Just thought I'd pick a name I actually still use on the mud I play. *grin*

Is there any option to change the # of posts shown per page?

I like the fact that users can turn off and on whether they see signatures or not. People who don't want to see them can just turn them off.

Assuming you mean the avatar pic, anything you don't crop and size down to 64x64 (pixels) will be automatically resized when it is displayed in the forums. If you mean the "personal photograph," then I have no idea as I've not used one before.
