Looking for a FE client w/automapping

I currently use Mushclient but I have been trying out Mudlet. I am looking for FE client that has an automapping feature that is simple to use. I have very limited knowledge on how to download or set up anything computer related. I barely know how to bumble my way through downloading a new client.

A fellow player on my home MUD has been kind enough to share his automapper for Mudlet but there seems to be some kinks still or perhaps it is just user error on my part. But at any rate i'd like to explore my options.

Is there a FE client out there that has a built in automapping feature that you'd recommend? If neccesary I can download the automapper as an add-on but for simplicity sake I'd really prefer it to already be built in.

Thanks

What game are you playing?

FEs need to be custom made for each game, and their features vary depending on the determination of their makers and the hooks that the MUD coders put into the game.

I play Shattered Isles. I am mostly interested in something that has an easy to use auto mapping system. As I mentioned previously I am very computer illiterate.

I currently use Mushclient and recently I've been trying out Mudlet. I'm considering trying Cmud but i'm not sure i'm willing to pay for a client when there are free ones available.

What is FE?

Perhaps that is incorrect terminology. It's a term that I carried over from a previous game.

FE to me means front end but I just meant a MUD client.

Yea.. everyone I know has used zMUD/CMUD almost exclusively (for mapping). If I were you, I would use their free 30 day trial and see if it suits you. If not, you can rule it out. Never tried mapping in any client at all though, honestly.

CMUD is not longer maintained either. So the only real option is to use Mudlet which is always being developed.

Not sure why development is relevant to mapping. I use zMUD still on all my computers and it hasn't been developed in 8 years.
