Simply stated in the title, I'm looking for something close or exactly related to the anime/game series .hack, anybody know of one that exists in english?

Absolutely. Check out .Dimension 2, which is a beta-test phase MUD we're designing that combines gameplay elements of Diablo2, .hack, and Final Fantasy into an original world. * Challenging campaigns give hardened players a difficult run to complete their kill list in the allotted time.

* 24 different limit breaks and the ability to hack and datadrain mobs make combat anything but boring.
