OMG I remember that game! ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL It was so cool. Thats the one where you had to go int a menu and select 'Up' to do up the stairs, is it not?

Yui Unifex 04-23-2002 11:36 AM

You got it =). And it didn't help that the last dungeon featured trapped floors that'd drop you a few floors down.

I recently finished DW7, and it *still* has a horrible interface. In fact, the very first dialogue in DW7 is a Yes or No question! But interestingly enough, DW games outsell Final Fantasy games in Japan =).

funkalicious 04-24-2002 12:47 PM

Well yeah that makes sense. The Square in Cali makes all the FF games, and the movie is in English. I wondered why they didnt translate it into English like regular animes and such.

sic et no?

If you know who wrote that, consider yourself well-versed on medieval history.

Maggie 05-15-2002 01:33 PM

I'm not sure who said that, but Peter Abelard is the one usually associated with the phrase "sic et non".  Is that close enough?

Edited to remove an embarassing grammatical error.

Mason 05-21-2002 01:34 PM

hmmm. it appears I left out the 'n.' You are right, it is Peter Abelard, who is also the famous monk whose love letters appear in "Abelard & Heloise."

Dauthi 08-03-2002 04:37 PM

Hokey Pokey

Molly 08-21-2002 05:15 PM

I guess y'all know that Abelard was castrated by Heloise's family too?

That's because someone voted on the poll, which for some reason counts as a recent post....
