Simplest oot box Mu* for a Linux vm?
 

Hi

I have a spare Linux VM with a permanent connection; my friends and I have all been MUDers of a sort so I want to throw up a MUD for us to meet in.

I don't want to build much, or customise. I don't need a combat system or quests etc. Just a virtual environment where I can put descriptions on rooms. And where I can let my mates go wild building, if the mood takes them.

What's the easiest MU* t set up straight from the box?

All of the established mushes like MUX, PennMUSH, MOO, and so on are easy to set up. I don't think one is any easier than the other.
