DarkWind Re-Launch
 

After many years, the admins on DarkWind have chosen to shake things up a bit. We're relauching
with a scaled back guild system that allows more detailed interactions with the players, and a
community-based feel towards the game. We have altered our combat system to make it
necessary to group up to battle your way to the top.

Because we realize people don't have the time they used to for MUDs in general, we've allowed
up the 3 multiple characters to be played at the same time. That allows you to have your own
group ready to play whenever you can, and allows you to still group up with others to go out
and take on even greater challenges. We have also instituted saved gear on logouts and over
reboot cycles. Again, we want players to play, not regear every week with their limited time.

If you want to get in on the ground floor with everyone else starting up again, now is the time

Welcome back!! I hope you guys kept the garou. I will be stopping by to check out one of my favorite old-school muds ever.

Darkwind was the first MUD I played seriously - a gazillion years ago. I will definitely have to come check you guys out.

Garou and Charlatans were my two favorite guildes from back then. Malraux and was a rockin' coder.
