..A Mud/MUSH/MUX that is:

Permadeath
RP enforced

The only ones that I know of are Armageddon Mud and SOI.

Looking for a Mud/MUSH/MUX with:

Pre-generated characters
RP enforced enviroment

The ones that come to mind here, are Firanmux and Blood of Dragons.

If you want good roleplay and outstanding features like ships with weapons on board, massive invasions, in depth religion, politics, intrique, and two styles of roleplay (civilized and extremely harsh), as well as the ability to adventure with large groups, you might try New Worlds Ateraan.

You would have to start in the south to ensure permadeath, but the south is really difficult for new players to the game and is not recommended.

It does take some time to get the feel for Ateraan as it is a very socially controlled game. Meaning that gaining rank and power is fine, but without the roleplay social aspect you will still be at a gross disadvantage.

If you are fixed on Permadeath for all, you won't find that here as there is both reincarnation and permadeath.

In that case you are pretty much stuck with Arm or SOI and all that comes with them. I've often wondered what the difference is between levels and skills (with levels). Are you saying no levels whatsoever?

I think there is one or two others that I'm forgetting about that I would recommend over Arm and SOI. One might be defunct now, but if I find them I'll post.
