Newbie, looking for a mud with deep crafting
 

Ok, so I'm pretty new to muds. I've only really sampled muds, like Dartmud and NWA. And both those games are excellent, but I'm looking for a little bit more leniency on RP. Since I'm new to muds I'd like to be able to practice rping at my leisure. Atm I'm terrible at rp, I'm not really quick witted or good with emotes. I think I just need time to get better. Now, onto what I'm looking for in a mud.Maybe these reqs are a bit of a stretch, but I really don't know what muds are out there.

Hey Akazukin,

Looks like both those muds are LP Muds, so I'm not sure if ours would be right up your alley, but we do have a crafting system and are multi-classed. We're a heavily modified Ack!Mud.

I'm not sure if you're greatly interested in RP, or if you are looking to get away from it -- we're a bit more of a community, so people tend to chat a lot OOC about jobs, life, games, etc. Not a big focus on RP.

Bullet points to not produce a wall of text :)

Crafting (not sure if this is considered "deep", though...)

You might try a game with the coffeemud codebase. They tend to have dozens and dozens of different crafting skills and an easy ability to multiclass with characters. While not my personal favorite, it's definitely a fresh and interesting take on crafting with a lot of variety.

I just checked out the generator site in your sig. The "Fertility Utility" is the best thing since sliced kalan fruit.
