Achaea shall be welcoming in the 400th in-game year after the historical Fall of the Seleucarian Empire with a grand celebration between August 16th and August 29!

Through competitions, treasure hunts, riddles, a lottery, and more, we will be giving away thousands of dollars worth of credits and prizes to the worthy and the lucky. The overall winner and Champion of the Y4C games can choose between an Xbox 360 + 1000 credits (if within the U.S. or Canada) or 2500 credits. In a separate lottery with 5 prizes, the grand prize is a Sony PSP + 1000 credits.

The Champion of the Y4C Games will test might and wit against his or her peers in combat tournaments, an exploration challenge, a Quiz, an xp gaining contest, and more. In addition to the prize options mentioned above, the Champion will receive the fabled Staff of Nicator, divine symbol of leadership and excellence passed down from Nicator, Founder of the Seleucarian Empire, an artifact of mythical power and prestige.

Take a look at the , and come join us in the festivities. This is a grand time to be Achaean!

Dang, I can say what I want about Iron Realm's Iron Fisted Consumerist ways, but there's one thing stone-cold capitalism can get you: phat lewt.  Of course, I'll stick with my normal MUDs because I like them much better, but if I were an Achaea player I'd be busy not winning a contest, because I never win contests.  But I'd be there.

Regarding the infamous Joke Contest, I can attest that being a judge in said contest was akin to having rusty nails slowly pounded into your ear canals to the beat of "It's a Small World After All". This may have some small bearing on why they're not having such a contest during this celebration.

Yes, judging that contest was a truly painful experience.

Dude, you have no idea. Don't even think sexual content. Just think, "2 good jokes, 98 REALLY REALLY bad ones."
