Hi. I've been wanting to build my own MUD for awhile now, and was wondering if anyone knew of any websites that may get me started? I know it takes years and I won't be able to build one for another couple years or so anyways, but I was just wondering if there was something out there to get me started? Thanks.

Probably best source, if you're going to base your mud off some older codebase, will be home of that codebase - or try searching in google or something like diku, tinymud, whatever else..
Such sites will most certainly have some general clues as well, so might just as well try that!
