Hello all!
I wanted to let you all know that I sold TopMudSites.com. I decided that since I have not been putting really any time into the site in quite some time, I'd rather sell it to someone who would make improvements and give it the time it needs. Please don't ask who I sold it too - the new owner will make this known when they are ready. This site was my first baby, having owned and run it since 1999. It was a hard thing to let it go, but I know it'll be in good hands. Good luck to everyone and I'm sure I'll see you all around! Adam Synozeer |
You've been great, Adam. Thanks for making this place what it is today.

You ran a great site, Synozeer, and hopefully the new owner will keep it up in a way that gives credit to all the work you put into it.
I just hope the new owner is someone we can live with, but the fact that you don't tell us the name has me slightly worried. |
Thank you for many years of support and dedication. The MU* community has gained for your presence and devotion. Best of wishes in your next endeavors.

That happened awhile ago actually, because Baram volunteered to help get rid of the frequent spam posts that were popping up.

Nope, not me.

Yeah, you ran a pretty quality site here, Synozeer. Hopefully the new owner will be half as good an administrator.
P.S. I'm the new owner! ...Not really, I'd love to be though! |
As I am not a MUD admin or owner I'll say what everyone is thinking and state that it is probably Matt.
We all know it probably has to be one of the commercial MUDs for someone to be able to afford it. |
Nope, it's not me. Iron Realms could certainly afford it, but we're in the business of running games and don't want to be distracted from that.

I wish whoever it was would just say it already.
|
Yeah, it is a little disturbing that we don't know who owns the place now.
As someone who has advertised here for many, many years, I feel like I deserve to know who owns the site now. |
Chill everyone. I'm sure Adam's not sold the site to a schmuck.

Do we honestly think that Synozeer is money-hungry enough to sell the site to someone who would have such an overt conflict of interests? Come now, let's give the man a little credit.

We can certainly hope that he wouldn't. But the fact that the identity of the buyer is kept secret is a bit unsettling and leaves the field open to speculations. Why not tell us outright who the new owner is? That would stop all the guesswork right away. |

thanks for all your hard work and dedication!
