Connection problem
 

I'm trying to connect to a game, but I get the 10061 connection refused message. The who list on the website shows that the game is running, and the news posts don't indicated downtime. I've experimented with dropping the firewall to see if that was the trouble (I put it back up). I can't connect through the Java client on the website or with any of my clients. I can still log into every other game I've tried, this is the only one I can't get into.

Can anyone else connect? zombiemud.org port 23

I can't connect, and TMC can't connect either, so it looks like it's down.

Yeah, it does look that way. What I don't understand is that the Who list on the website is still updated and shows a lot of people on, and the time is the same minute as my computer, just seven hours ahead of me. The news updates have also kept up to date with changes to the game, but there has never been any mention of downtime.

Might want to question if that list and updates are autogenerated and real.:D

There are times when I try connecting to Ironclaw, and get stopped by 'Security Bubbles'. A second try gets me in instantly.

I tried it again just now and I can finally connect. I wonder what happened that made the game inaccessible for nearly two weeks.

Now that I can connect, I don't really want to play. I guess the destination really is less satisfying than the journey.
