Maratha Open House
 

Maratha is an original-themed fantasy MUCK. The setting is a city on the line between order and chaos -- a place touched by wild magic, its people struggling to coexist with the monsters so created. There are the monsters, and the mages who study them; nobles and merchants, shopkeepers and thieves; refugees from lands lost to wild magic, and others who just claim to be such -- all these people, and more besides, caught between light and darkness, with the fate of the city ultimately in their hands.

Why is this important? Because, in the spirit of recruiting more players, Maratha will be holding an Open House on May 25th (this coming Sunday, start time TBA). Everyone is invited to come visit, and also to create a character and take part in an ONS, the better to get a hands-on feel for the theme. Chargen will be abbreviated for these 'trial' chars, and any in-theme concept that isn't restricted is fair game for the day. Anyone who stays on, of course, will have to finish chargen in full -- but that comes later.
