I've actually only been playing MUDs and MUSHes for maybe three years now. Pretty late to the party, I know. I've also managed to embarrass myself on here in the, what, ten minutes I've been verified to make posts and threads, by not realizing I had all of the forum posts display such that the oldest threads were coming first, and the newest ones last. Root dee doot. No wonder those ads for "new" games I was cruising led mostly to dead links.

I'm a computer graphics guy who writes shaders and draws for sweet, sweet cash. I am whittling on a MUX, ack-shually, since I'm and I'm a ridiculous World of Darkness nerd (old and new) who is not quite brave enough to take on a MU* with a D at the end. I'm pretty excited about it, though.

You should definitely take on a Mu* with the D at the end.

Umm, well, it probably will, but you'll have fun while trying to avoid the inevitable demise. And unless you choose one of the games with permadeath, you will be resurrected...

Molly - Hurr, I have played on MUDS but when it comes to coding all I am good for is tinyMUX. Still probably wouldn't kill me, though, now would it?
