The following positions are open for active and enthusiastic Chiaroscuro players:

- Bartenders and serving wenches in the Lightholder Tavern (Palace District), The Nest (Hedgehem), Warm Shining Tavern (Light's Reach), Gold Coin (Vozhdya) FILLED, Thirsty Trout (Hawk's Aerie), Sword and Shield (Road's End), Bane's View (Wedgecrest), Riverview Tavern (Aegisport), and Clanging Gong (East Leg).
- Constables to keep order and resolve disputes throughout the city-state of Fastheld.
- Aides to help the tax assessor collect funds from townships.
- Nobles to serve in the Emperor's Blades as Bladesmen or Horsemen.
- Citizens to serve in the Emperor's Blades as Guardians.
- Royal assignments within Fastheld Keep: Chamberlain, Stablemaster, Cook, Quartermaster, Tournament Groundskeeper, Guild Liaison
- Noble assignments within the Market District: Chief Overseer (supervises the central Bazaar, docks and overseers of the quads), overseers for the Northeast Quad, Northwest Quad, Southeast Quad and Southwest Quad
- Noble assignments in Hawk's Aerie: Harbormaster
