Builder for Iberia MUD

Good evening.
In order to give a big step, Iberia MUD is in need of a builder to write descriptions of a given geographical area (based in true places, as Iberia MUD is historical and pretends to be realistic).
If anyone is willing to accept the challenge, send a mail to .

Thanks in advance

*bump for another look - has this position been filled?*

Why not message the person BEFORE bumping the thread? Then you'd know whether or not it needs to be.

Hail.
No, it hasn't been filled, and eventually it's needed more than one builder :)
Iberia MUD Engine stills in development, and I point my effort on programming. At least another one building (and I lack knowledge in english to make good descriptions) would be perfect to increase the speed of development.
Thanks

Agreed, rather odd for a moderator to more or less just bump random threads for no tangible reason.

Ole barmy brody with his useless posts.

All of the topics visible from the main site are now useful topics. Yesterday I seem to remember three of the six were the TMS regulars ripping on locke for being a genius who invented the moon and then demanded credits for it.

Bumping reasonably useful threads is a good thing. Rehashing the exact same arguments in three different threads for two weeks? A bad thing.

Amen, Brotha.

Err? Your post seems to be implying that Locke was demanding credits for something which he desrved, which...he wasn't the case. As for the bumping, my point was more or less that it's silly to bump a post looking for staff members. If they are still looking for staff they are certainly capable of bumping their own thread without a moderator doing it for them.

Err? Yes. I was implying that locke invented the moon. And that he is a genius. And that, yes, he deserves credit for his brilliant invention of the moon and the internet and video tape. Was my sarcasm really that hard to pick up there? If so, let me clarify: It was sarcasm.

The three topics that locke had started had been taking up space on the front page for two weeks with the same argument in all three that eventually devolved into "Nu uh!" followed by "Uh huh!" in an endless loop. Not only is this stealing room and publicity from valid topics and -good- MU*'s, it makes our beloved TMS community look like a bunch of assholes, much like the 6-month Medtheivia threads or the 'Screw IRE' threads that ran for months and months with no real value or constructive topics (Not intending here to lump the IRE games with Medievia or Locke's game. Just an example...).

So. MY point was that Brody could have bumped anything really, be it defunct spam porn ads or a 9 year old player request for a generic stock HnS, and I would have called it a job well done.

Haha, give me a break. 90% of Brody's posts are worthless. He bumped 10 threads for no reason and he's always plugging his mud. Just because a thread is on the front page doesn't mean anything, and the Locke discussions were far more intriguing than many of the other threads that spring up on TMS, including this one. We're derailing the **** out of it but who cares if Iberia MUD needs a builder?

There are plenty of muds that need builders, no need to bump the OP's thread for him, if it is some vague attempt to get rid of the Locke threads on the front page then so be it. It's not as if the only threads that get read are those. Some people actually click on Forums and read through the forums.
