Is there a rule or something, that all negative reviews, however well-founded and informative, are going to be deleted when the Immortals of the MUD complain?

Yet repetitive positive reviews that say nothing more than what can be found on the information page stay?

I thought the whole purpose of having the review system was to hear both positives and negatives about a MUD, so the players can make an informed decision?

Am I misinformed to think that?

In case you are having difficulty writing reviews that don't get deleted, I
have assembled this easy form so you too can write a really useful review
for your mud!

best MU* of all the many MU*s I have played. It is a small/medium/large

And <insert name of feature> that they SAY they have? It sucks! They are big liars! And their head Imm smells! They should all be set on fire because they suck so much!

I'm being unbiased here, because I just want to warn everyone that <name of MUD> really is horrible and you should stay far away from it! Despite the fact that I was caught cheating several times on there and flamed a bunch of people and caused a bunch of problems before finally being kicked off the game, this is still my unbiased viewpoint and should be taken as is, and I have no vendetta against them because I am sixteen years old and have no self control!

Doesn't everyone agree with me that <name of MUD> should just die? Die, die, die!

but how about allowing the players to submit some reviews that are actually USEFUL to prospective players, without deleting them, just because the immortals of the mud like to get their panties in a bunch?
