Medievia has a new custom client!
 

Medievia is proud to announce the release of it’s new custom client with MudMaster 2k6. It is now easier than ever to connect to Medievia in just a few simple steps. Not only that, but this version of MudMaster was specifically made for Medievia with the custom Medievia font installed and other features specific to the game.

- It installed on Vista 64-bit, but with some funniness - Vista thought the setup hadn't worked even though it seems to have worked ok.

- You should probably put a screenshot on the download page so people have an idea what they're downloading. You should also list the size of the download (900K-ish) next to the download.

- If you're targeting new players (as opposed to existing MUD players), then you should make the UI look less scary. I can go into detail if you want. (I posted some comments about the batmud client a few months back that are somewhat relevent.)

Have you had any other feedback from Mac users? Crashing apps, freezing clients?

Unfortunately the client is for windows only :( I'm a mac user myself and would love a Medievia custom client for me. I use MudWalker and it works fine enough, although the Med font doesn't work either. Our next step is to get a mac version of our client - hopefully soon!
