You're dead. Now how will you live?

It doesn't matter where you came from or what happened in the life you knew before. Life's over. In Necromundus, the realm of portals, the question is how to spend your afterlife.

Necromundus takes an ambitious sandbox approach to its design. Players must write biographies to give their characters some background, but those biographies do not rely on knowledge of any given theme. Your character can come from any place, any time, so long as they are well-crafted and meet our quality standards.

Once you've entered the afterlife, you'll pick the form your character will take, the style of person they'll represent, and then you'll embark on adventures throughout several realms connected to the main city of Necromundus by a series of glowing portals.

Craft weapons and armor. Train mounts to carry you across the land. Join friends in epic battles against tenacious foes.

But, most importantly, help shape the evolving story of Necromundus.

Sir Galahad: Knight of King Arthur’s round table in Camelot.
Kurt Cobain: Grunge rocking lead singer of Nirvana.
John F. Kennedy: United States president who was shot and killed in Dallas in 1963.
Humphrey Bogart: Famous actor who starred in Casablanca and The Big Sleep.
Al Capone: Ruthless Chicago mob boss.
Princess Diana: Beloved British icon who died in a Paris car crash.
Death: Keeper of the peace in the central city of Necromundus.
