Re: OtherSpace: Things Go Wrong Marathon!

The Things Go Wrong RP Marathon resumes today. The next major event will happen about 11 a.m. Eastern.

To sum up so far:

Caspar'kamir tried breaking back through to reality, but only managed to damage the space-time continuum. In 3008, this led to problems like a wooly mammoth stampede in the gambling district of Antimone, the scorching of more than 100 passengers inside a TransSol shuttle near Mars, and the arrival of a startled marlin aboard the Iuppiter.

Morden'kamir, after some difficulty, manifested aboard Hancock Station to warn inhabitants not to travel until damage to the continuum had been fully assessed by the Kamir.

In 4008, a Sivadian man genetically engineered to look like a giant rabbit showed up aboard Tharsis. He had been at a party in the Shupman Tower in Enaj in 3057 right before he saw a flash and appeared before Majors and Tharsis. At first, Solomon Dove-Phillipe thought it was all an elaborate joke by his friend Eli. Tharsis showed him proof in the form of an obituary: Solomon was among the 15,000 killed when that tower was destroyed by ecoterrorists (led by Eli). Solomon escaped death by about 10 minutes. However, the shock of learning he was now more than 900 years in the future hit him hard. He died of a heart attack and then was consumed by the couch while Tharsis struggled with a faster-than-light drive that turned into a Demarian magazine collection and control consoles that shifted into giant mushrooms.

Strange things are afoot in the multiverse.

And it's just going to get worse.
