We all share the frustration of how hard it is to get mainstream gaming coverage about MUDs. But there is at least one major web site writer who has taken a serious interest in MUDs. I think this is a great development for our community.

Beau Hindman has written a number of articles at Massively.com about MUDs. To my knowledge he has covered at least , , , and .

He has a genuine love for MUDs and my hope is that he will keep writing about MUDs.

Unfortunately there were technical issues that negatively impacted the audio on Michael's end. He plugged at one point during the interview - hopefully people can hear that part clearly and will come visit the site.

Beau Hindman ( on twitter) is a rare mainstream gaming media journalist who has a serious love for MUDs and writes about them as often as he can. That's definitely something very cool for us. He thinks MUDs have an opportunity to resurge in popularity thanks to mobile devices where MUDs actually perform well. I think he's right!

Beau was pretty great when he stopped by and played Gemstone IV for a few days also. I always check him out over on Massively.

Achaea as well. Beau is the best friend MUDs have in anything approaching mainsteam media (Massively is not exactly mainstream, but we can't be picky in MUDs!).
