It is with great pleasure and pride that I would like to inform you that the Shadows of Isildur MUD has amicably resolved its legal differences with Tolkien Enterprises, and will continue to provide an unsurpassed, high-quality and completely free Tolkien-based roleplay environment to the community into the indefinite future.

I will officially re-open our player port [aman.middle-earth.us (69.44.60.203) port 4500] to the gaming public tomorrow, Saturday 31st July, at 12 noon Pacific Daylight Savings Time. I look forward to seeing all of you again, and sincerely hope that you will enjoy your travels through Tolkien's Middle-earth once more.
